Meet AJ Fox

AJ Fox is an independent comic creator building a universe that blends superheroes, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and faith. Born and raised on Chicago’s West Side, AJ lost his father when he was only five years old. Although he grew up without a father in the home, he still developed a strong sense of truth and justice through comics, especially Superman: The Animated Series.

 

Inspired by those early influences, AJ is creating a world meant to remind people what heroes were always meant to be. His characters inspire not because they never fall, but because they decide who they are after they do.

AJ’s own life reflects the themes found in his work. Despite struggling with reading and a learning disability, he refused to let those obstacles dictate his future. He began building his universe character by character, page by page, proving that whatever stands in your way doesn’t have to end your story.

In AJ’s worlds, heroes aren’t gods; they’re people. People who fail. People who make decisions that cost something. Failure doesn’t make them monsters; it makes them real. It makes them human. What defines them are the choices they make after they fall.
